Mumbai: Bollywood’s well-known senior actress Shabana Azmi has come out in support of the anti-Islam film ‘The Kerala Story’.
According to the actress, those who are demanding a ban on this film are just as wrong as they were demanding a ban on Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’.
Shabana Azmi took to Twitter in support of the film, writing, “Those who are demanding a ban on ‘The Kerala Story’ are as wrong as those who wanted a ban on Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’.”

She further wrote that once the Central Censor Board passed a film, then no one has any additional constitutional authority over that decision.
The film ‘The Kerala Story’ has fueled public sentiment since its release, with some praising the film while the majority terming it as propaganda.
Despite being controversial, the film’s numbers at the box office are impressive, and ‘The Kerala Story’ has collected 16 crores in the first three days alone.
