Najam Sethi, head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, has taken a blunt stand and conveyed the message that if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan, then Pakistan will not go to India for the World Cup.
Giving a blunt stance on the Indian media, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Najam Sethi said that for the Asia Cup, India was also presented with a hybrid model, but the BCCI is adamant that we are not accepting it. Also included Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Najam Sethi said that the hybrid model that will be for the Asia Cup will be the same as for the World Cup because our government will not allow us to go and play in India, just as the Indian team has security problems in Pakistan, so Pakistan has in India.
He said that if India agrees on the hybrid model for the Asia Cup, then Pakistan will be ready to play its matches in Bangladesh or wherever BCCI and ICC consider, but it is difficult to play in India.
On the other hand, the statement of Najam Sethi has been lit up by the Indian media and BCCI and reports are being circulated that the ICC has banned the Green Shirts from playing the World Cup in India.
