Dr. Aafia Siddiqui: Jamaat-e-Islami announced protests for the release of Aafia Siddiqui

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq has announced protests on Friday for the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui from the American jail.

According to the details, a meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami was held in Mansurah under the chairmanship of Siraj-ul-Haq, in which he said that negotiations and transparent elections are the solution to the problems.

Sirajul Haque said that the supremacy of the constitution and law will have to be established. The ongoing fight in the country is not for the people but for personal interests. The current crisis does not matter to the VIPs. Inflation, unemployment, and poverty have crushed the common man.

It should be noted that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, who is imprisoned in the American prison, has met her elder sister Dr. Fawzia after 20 years.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami and human rights lawyer Clive Smith were also present in the second meeting. Senator Mushtaq Khan described the meeting with Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in a tweet.

He wrote, “I met with Dr. Aafia for 3 hours, the conversation was being fully recorded, Aafia Siddiqui’s health is weak, tears were coming to her eyes again and again.”

According to Senator Mushtaq Khan, in the meeting, Dr. Aafia was saying repeatedly, take me out of this hell, at the end of the meeting, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was taken away in chains.
