Islamabad: For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has appointed a woman Raisa Adil as the Chairperson of the Central Film Censor Board.

The film industry of our country is developing day by day, we want to encourage the films produced in the country to promote the film industry.

He said that we have to understand the modern requirements and only after that we can highlight filmmaking at the global level, in modern times propaganda is done through film. Countries around the world resort to film to advance their own agendas. Film is used to moderate public opinion and film is also used to spread propaganda against the enemy.

Raisa Adil said that the neighboring country India uses its film industry for anti-Pakistan propaganda. Ever since India implemented its anti-Pakistan agenda, Indian films have been banned in Pakistan, and if we have to stop the screening of Indian films in Pakistan, at least bring our film industry to this standard. Will be.

He further said that a state of the art film academy has been established in Islamabad and this initiative will provide a world class environment to filmmakers if we want to show our films to our people.
