Dynastic Politics in Pakistan is a menace and a huge impediment to the survival of Pakistan. Pakistan sees no clear path out of its Dynastic Politics, as these Dynasts have strengthened their roots in the system so deeply.
We have outlined some suggestions to eradicate and replace this Nepotism with Democracy.

A political family (also referred to as political dynasty) is a family in which multiple members are involved in politics — particularly electoral politics. Members may be related by blood or marriage; often several generations or multiple siblings may be involved.

What are the examples of political dynasties in Pakistan?
In Pakistan there are Three major Dynastic Political Families, although there are a bunch of others too, yet these three families have been playing a major role in playing Havoc for last couple of decades.
- Bhutto and (now) Zardari family
- Sharif Family (The new contenders are Maryam Nawaz, her cousin Hamza Sharif, the extended family friends and relatives such as Ishaaq Daar, and the husband of Maryam Safdar, Mr. Safdar, They all are the beneficiaries of Dynastic families.
- Fazal Ur Rehman of JUI-Ffamily
- Saad Rizwi of Tehreek e Labaik is also the son and a Nepo politician in the making.
Overall 40 other families have been capturing the whole system in Pakistan since the 1970s.
Open Elections within the Political Parties:
The parties should hold open elections to elect their
leadership and the top leadership positions should be open to all members of
a political party.
Party Leadership Must be Elected with the Public will and On Merit:
The leadership of the Political Parties should not be passed from one generation of a
family to another, either without fulfilling any criteria or should at least have a terms gap in between. The Merit of election should be ´Public Interaction and more people to people contact´
Putting Brakes on Elite Capture:
To End Dynastic Politics in Pakistan, these Dynasts Should be kept aloof from entering deep into the System as they have hijacked it at this moment. The Rich families have strengthened ties with each other and they don’t let competent or genuine patriot minds stand on top. If people boycott such Dynasts and take care of their Votes, they will not enter the Political arena and this will discourage the current Elite capture quite strongly.
